TOWER

The TOWER (its lower half appears in-game).

The TOWER replaces the CORE in Outertale as the last destination before New Home. Instead of traversing along a solid plane, the protagonist is required to ascend multiple floors of the TOWER before arriving at the Metatron EX battle. After the battle, the player is required to jump off the TOWER in a similar fashion as the platform battle with Undyne, landing in a flower patch within New Home.

Instead of having an emphasis on blue colours, each floor of the TOWER is a unique colour, while still having a red undertone when it comes to certain details. There are four floors in total, the lowest focusing on a light blue, the second a red, and the third a pink. The final battle with Metatron EX has a colour of its own, green.
